ПЕТРУШКА 1, и, жін. Дворічна, зрідка однорічна городня пряна овочева рослина родини зонтичних, коренеплоди та листочки якої використовують як приправу для їжі, а також як сечогінний засіб у медицині. Стало на юшку, та не стало на петрушку (Українські народні прислів'я та приказки, 1963, 66); «Чи так.. чи не так, Уродив постернак. А петрушку Криши в юшку — Буде смак, буде смак..» (Тарас Шевченко, I, 1951, 275); Петрушка не лише приправа, а давно відома лікарська рослина (Хлібороб України, 5, 1966, 47). Собача петрушка (Aethusa cynapium, L.) — однолітня отруйна рослина родини зонтичних, схожа на звичайну петрушку, але з характерним різким запахом.
ПЕТРУШКА 2, и.
